The Beef Information Centre is taking a new tact in its mission to get Canadians to eat more beef, by ramping up its website with the addition of podcasts.

The podcasts, dubbed Beef Radio, are hosted by registered dietician Helene Charlebois and produced in association with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There are three podcasts available, covering lunch, dinner and lean products. Each is between seven and 13 minutes and includes tips on making meals with beef and making healthy choices.

The podcasts pitch to the website, which features hundreds of beefed-up recipes. The website also features a CRM initiative called the Make it Beef Club, in which members can sign up for a monthly magazine and email program.
