Dose offers up its content to go

The 18-to-34 targeted website has launched a new iPhone app to deliver its content to its increasingly mobile demographic. Ad opps are included.

Reaching out to its 18- to 34-year-old demographic in the way it consumes media today, Dose.ca has launched a new iPhone app to deliver its content – and advertising – to young people on the go.

According to a release, the app is meant to augment the success of the brand’s Facebook page, which has over 23,000 fans and features a vamped-up look and customized ad units exclusive to the Dose page.

Dose’s editorial mix focuses on entertainment, fashion and style, and ad opportunities and the app will include both content from Dose.ca and feeds from its social media properties, Jen McDonnell, managing editor, Dose.ca, tells MiC. Advertisers can also buy campaigns across all platforms, as the mobile app includes a 15-second interstitial ad unit that loads when the app is activated.

Dose.ca receives an average of 250,000 unique visitors per month, according to ComScore.
