Porter lands at #1: Media Monitors radio rankings, May 17 to 23, 2010

It was a familiar list of names at the top of the radio buy rankings for the week, with Porter, Sears and Hydro-Quebec topping the Toronto and Montreal markets.

It was the all-too-familiar lineup of usual suspects at the top of the Media Montiors Radio Rankings for Toronto and Montreal for the week of May 17 to 23, 2010.

Porter Airlines topped the Toronto list, rising from #15 the week prior to #1 this week. In second place was McDonald’s, which rose from #18, and in third was Sears, dropping one spot from #2 the week prior. The week’s biggest mover was local jeweller Spence Diamonds, which rose to #9 from #55 with a radio buy to complement its carrot/carat-themed TSA buy.

In Montreal, Hydro-Quebec was the leader of the week, retaining its #1 spot from the week before, and Alarm Force rose to #2 from #5. In third was Porter Airlines. The biggest move of the week was retailer Intersport, which made its appearance on the list at #10.
