NADbank has announced the new lineup for its 2010 board of directors.
New to the lineup are Kirk Allen, senior VP, publishing sales, Canwest Publishing; Chris Brockbank, executive VP, marketing & product management, Sun Media Corporation; Philippe Guay, VP Toronto national sales, Quebecor Media; and Robert Troutbeck, president, Troutbeck Chernoff.
The board will continue to be chaired by Kevin Bent, interim president, Canwest Publishing; Andrew Saunders, VP ad sales, the Globe and Mail, continues as vice chair; and Veronica Engelberts, president, Vector Media, remains treasurer.
Also returning to the board are Sunni Boot, president & CEO, ZenithOptimedia Canada; Don Brander, group publisher, Transcontinental Media Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island; Jean Durocher, VP marketing et ventes, La Presse; Sara Hill, president, M2; Sandy MacLeod, VP, consumer marketing, Toronto Star; Bill McDonald, group publisher, Metro English Canada; John Tarantino, VP directeur média, Cossette; Alain Tardy, VP média, Marketel; Peter Vaz, VP director digital communications, M2 Universal Digital.
Retiring from the NADbank board are Bruce Claassen, former chair of Aegis Media Canada, now CEO of Bluepoint Investments of Oakville, ON., and Kin-Man Lee, CFO of Sun Media Corporation.
NADbank provides readership data on 81 Canadian daily newspapers and two Detroit dailies in 53 urban markets across Canada, as well as data for 60 community newspapers in 33 markets. The most recent survey was released in March.
