Summertime radio buys are now officially in effect, with free-time-friendly brands making big radio buys in Toronto and Montreal, according to the Media Monitors radio rankings for the week of June 28 to July 4, 2010.
Chrysler dealers topped the chart in Toronto, moving up three spots from #4 the week previous, while Bell TV (#2) and Pizza Pizza (#3) rounded out the top three. The biggest mover of the week was Marineland’s eight-point jump to #6 from #14 and the LCBO’s seven-point move from #15 to #8.
In Montreal, Bell Mobility stayed in the #1 position from the week previous, while perennial radio buyers Alarm Force and Government du Quebec were in #2 and #3, respectively. The biggest move of the week belonged to summertime comedy festival Just for Laughs, which jumped from #41 to #9.
