Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for July 26 to Aug. 1, 2010:
Monday: Two and a Half Men on CTV at 9 p.m. is most-watched for the night with 1.555 million viewers. It tops the female-oriented version of the sitcom about middle-aged singles, Hot in Cleveland, which was most popular the previous week with 1.646 million viewers.
Tuesday: CTV Evening News at 7 p.m. ousts America’s Got Talent with 1.314 million viewers, winning the night. This marks another ratings slide for Citytv’s America’s Got Talent, which this week attracted 1.274 viewers. The reality show had 1.340 million tune in the previous week.
Wednesday: Global’s Big Brother 12 is still the top program of the night with 1.620 million viewers. The reality show had 1.775 million viewers the previous week.
Thursday: Big Brother 12 at 8 p.m. attracted 1.698 million viewers and is at the top of the ratings chart with its Thursday night broadcast. Rookie Blue, airing on the same network an hour later, was the most-watched show the previous week with 1.805 million viewers, this week dropping to 1.483 million.
Friday: CTV Evening News holds on as the Friday night champion with 1.314 million viewers. It had 1.458 million viewers the previous week.
Saturday: CTV National News at 11 p.m. was most-watched with 1.144 million viewers. The news program was most-popular the previous weekend as well with 1.172 million viewers.
Sunday: Big Brother 12 is in second place for the week on Sunday at 9 p.m., with 1.690 million viewers tuning in. The show attracted an audience of 1.766 million the previous week.
