Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Aug. 2 to 8, 2010:
Monday: Big Bang Theory on CTV at 9:30 p.m. has grown steadily in the ratings this summer, reaching second place for the week with 1.643 million viewers. It ousts the show that precedes it on the network’s comedy hour, Two and a Half Men, which last year had 1.555 million viewers.
Tuesday: America’s Got Talent takes back its place on the top with 1.566 million viewers on Citytv at 9 p.m. CTV Evening News was most-watched the previous week with 1.314 million viewers.
Wednesday: Global’s Big Brother 12 is still the top program of the night with 1.631 million viewers. The reality show had 1.620 million viewers the previous week.
Thursday: Big Brother 12 at 8 p.m. attracted a much larger fan base than the previous week with 1.870 million tuning in to Global at 8 p.m. Big Brother was the most popular program the previous week with 1.698 million viewers.
Friday: Flashpoint on CTV at 10 p.m. is back on top with 1.452 million viewers, ousting the usual Friday night champion, CTV Evening News, which had 1.314 million viewers the previous week.
Saturday: CTV National News at 11 p.m. was most-watched with 1.184 million viewers, slightly higher than the audience of 1.144 million that the program had the previous week.
Sunday: Big Brother 12 drops in the weekend ratings for its Sunday night broadcast, attracting an audience of 1.487 million at 9 p.m. The show had 1.690 million viewers the previous week.
