Ellen Baine resurfaces at Hollywood Suite as top programmer

The top brass are named for the channels, set to launch in Canada this November.

Ellen Baine is joining fellow former Chum Television execs at Hollywood Suite, the quartet of Canadian movie channels to launch this November.

Baine, a former VP of programming at Chum Television, becomes VP of programming at Hollywood Suite, which is led by former Chum Television execs David Kines and Jay Switzer.

Jeremy McCarthy, most recently manager of content up-sell with Rogers Communications and also a former Chum Television exec, becomes director of business development.

And Hollywood Suite also hired Kerry Connelly as director of marketing after she completed earlier executive stints at 4th Wall Media and XM Satellite Radio.

Additional appointments include Erich Neher named as program manager, Ross Finkelstein hired as program coordinator and Sean O’Neill becoming producer/editor.

Hollywood Suite will comprise two exclusive movie channels for movie product from the Warner Bros. and MGM studios, an action/adventure channel Hollywood Storm, and the romance and relationship film channel Hollywood Festival.
