Shaw Media has announced that its Global Television reality singing show Canada Sings has been renewed for a second season.

The one-hour long summer show, which turns colleagues into singing and dancing groups and pits them against other companies is currently accepting submissions for the new season, which will air in 2012.

More details on the second season of the show will be available in the New Year, the deadline for submitting audition tapes is Dec. 1, 2011.
