UM Canada has created the role of VP, digital communications and promoted Rebecca Shropshire to fill the position.
Shropshire has been with UM Canada for two years, most recently working as director of digital with client Johnson & Johnson.
She told MiC her new responsibilities include addressing problems which plague all agencies, like acquiring and retaining key digital minds.
“I will also focus on training and mentorship for digital professionals,” she says. “Also working with all agency members so everyone understands digital because it plays such a key role in everything, and streamlining the tools necessary to implement and manage online campaigns.”
