Stanley Cup Finals win four nights with 2.88 million

The Glee finale comes in second place with 1.758 million viewers.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for May 31 to June 6, 2010.

Monday: The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC at 8 p.m. won with 2.880 million viewers that returned for the final four games spaced throughout the week. However, more Canadians watch when one of their own teams is still in the running – the NHL Playoffs on CBC had 3.031 million viewers the previous week.

Tuesday: Global’s Glee at 9 p.m. attracted 1.758 million viewers, coming in second for the week after the Stanley Cup Finals. CTV’s American Idol had 2.484 million fans the previous week.

Wednesday: The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC at 8 p.m. aired to 2.880 million viewers, winning the night that went to the American Idol finale (with 3.328 million fans) the previous week.

Thursday: CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada was most-watched again with 1.575 million viewers. The reality series had 1.567 million viewers the previous Thursday.

Friday, Sunday: The  Stanley Cup Finals on CBC were watched by 2.880 million Canadians. CTV Evening News at 7 p.m. was most-watched the previous Friday with 1.373 million viewers, and CTV National News had 1.202 million viewers the previous Sunday.

Saturday: CTV National News takes back the top spot with an audience of 1.079 million. The Stanley Cup Finals dominated the previous week with 3.164 million tuning in.
