Slice debuts speedy new reality show

Love Incorporated, airing in January, follows the lives of a married couple who own an international speed-dating business. Hysterics, hi-jinks ensue.

In a world where people decide in five to 10 minutes whether they’ve found their soulmate, it’s not hard to see why Canwest thought that the speed-dating antics of couple Justin and Annabelle Parfitt would be a perfect reality-TV match for Slice this winter.

Love Incorporated, a Canwest original series, debuts Monday, Jan. 11, at 10 p.m. ET, and will air 13 half-hour episodes. Targeting women 25 to 54, the show follows the lives of the Parfitts, who own an international speed-dating business called FastLife. The duo face the challenges of moving to Toronto from Australia, running their business and managing to stay married at the same time.

Canwest will promote the show via its own properties on-air and online, and a FastLife speed dating event will be filmed by ET Canada on Jan. 7, with the Parfitts as hosts. The company will also kick in its share of promo as well, advertising the show on its Canadian website and via its e-newsletter.

The show will also be accompanied by a microsite on the Slice website that will include quizzes, tips and articles about dating and being single, as well as Q&As and blogs by the Parfitts. Full episodes will also be available online.
