Grey’s Anatomy revives life at the top

Survivor Samoa remains the second-most watched program of the week.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, 2009.

Monday: Dancing with the Stars 9 performance on CTV at 8 pm made its debut as the top program of the week, reaching 1.928 million viewers. (Global’s House had 3.701 million viewers as the top program the previous week).

Tuesday: Dancing with the Stars 9 results show on CTV at 9 pm was also the top program the following night, attracting 1.001 million viewers. (NCIS on Global held the top spot the previous week with 2.404 million viewers).

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 pm held on to the top spot of the night with 2.011 million viewers. (The show had an audience of 2.861 million the previous week).

Thursday: CTV’s Grey’s Anatomy was neck and neck with Global’s Survivor Samoa, however it prevailed with 3.096 million viewers, while Survivor came in second place for the week with 3.076 million viewers. (Survivor Samoa was the champ the previous week with 3.187 million viewers).

Friday: Flashpoint on CTV at 10 pm takes back its place as most-watched program with 1.871 million viewers. (CTV Evening News was most-watched the previous week with 1.573 million viewers).

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada Game #1 on CBC at 7 pm made progress, reaching 2.453 million viewers. (The program was also most-watched the previous week with 2.306 million viewers).

Sunday: Amazing Race 15 on CTV at 8 pm remained the winner for the end of the week, attracting 2.575 million viewers. (The reality show had 2.619 million viewers the previous week).
