Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for July 20 – 26, 2009:
Monday: CSI Miami on CTV at 10 pm is back on top Monday with 1.278 million viewers. (Law and Order: CI was most-watched the previous week with 1.249 million viewers.)
Tuesday: Big Brother 11 on Global at 9 pm attracted 979,000 viewers and was the top program of the night. (Criminal Minds on CTV was highest-rated the previous week with 1.105 million viewers.)
Wednesday: So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) performance show on CTV at 8 pm was the second most popular show of the week with 1.614 million viewers. (SYTYCD had 1.606 million tune in the previous week.)
Thursday: SYTYCD results on CTV at 9 pm celebrated its 100th episode, and a whopping 1.937 million people watched the show’s special performances, including the much-hyped Katie Holmes song and dance number. (SYTYCD was also most-watched the previous week with an audience of 1.301 million.)
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 pm attracted 1.017 million viewers on Friday night. (The news program was also most-watched the previous week with 1.087 million viewers.)
Saturday: CTV National News at 11 pm was most-watched for the night with 903,000 viewers. (CTV National News was also on top the previous week with 848,000 viewers.)
Sunday: Big Brother 11 on Global at 8 pm had 959,000 viewers as the most-watched program on Sunday night. (It ousted CTV’s Merlin which had 948,000 viewers as the most-watched program the previous week.)
