Grey's Anatomy moves to second place.

Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for May 4 – 10, 2009:

Monday: House heading into rehab on CTV at 8 pm attracted the largest audience for the night again with 2.061 million viewers. (It was the most-watched program the previous week with 1.362 million viewers.)

Tuesday: American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.465 million viewers, and was the top program for the week. (The talent show won over 2.248 million viewers and was in second place last week.)

Wednesday: American Idol results show on CTV at 9 pm dropped from weekly first place, but it was still the highest-rated program of the night with 2.219 million viewers. (American Idol results show on CTV had 2.205 million viewers as the top program the previous week.)

Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 pm had the largest audience for the night, and was the second-most popular of the week with 2.421 million viewers. (The doctor drama was also most-watched the previous week with 2.159 million viewers.)

Friday: NHL Playoffs Round 2 on CBC at 7 pm was the high scorer for the night with 1.426 million viewers. (Flashpoint on CTV was the most popular show the previous week with 1.365 million viewers.)

Saturday: NHL Playoffs Round 2 on CBC at 10 pm was again the most-watched program of the night with 1.732 million viewers. (The playoffs also attracted the highest Saturday audience the previous week with 1.879 million viewers.)

Sunday: Amazing Race on CTV at 8 pm was most-watched with 2.165 million viewers. (The reality show gained viewers from the previous week when it had 1.986 million viewers as the highest-rated program of the night.)
