The hit fashion reality show, Project Runway Canada, will return for a new season in January, making its network premiere on Global Television, with encore performances on the Slice Network.
The 12-ep series is expected to air Jan. 27 at 10 pm on Global and Jan. 31 at 9 pm on Slice, with encore presentations Mondays at 10 pm.
International icon Iman hosts the show again, and leads a panel of industry insiders who will judge the talent and skills of 14 promising new designers from across the country. Canadian fashion designer Brian Bailey will also return as mentor to the designers as they take on weekly fashion challenges.
Elle Canada will feature the winning designer on its cover. Other brand participation includes a photo shoot by L’Oréal Paris, a ‘Runway to Retail’ business mentorship with Winners, and $100,000 to start their own fashion line.
The network was unable to share series’ viewership numbers on Slice for the last season at press time. The show debuted on Slice in October last year. The two-hour season finale aired last December.
