The A network is set to lose three shows from its primetime schedule as sophomore dramas Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone are not being renewed by ABC.
There’s no word on what will fill the vacated spots, though an A spokesperson points out that midseason shows are scheduled to take over as planned when the three shows play out their seasons early next year.
The soapy Money, about a wealthy New York family and starring Donald Sutherland, performed the best out of the three, averaging around 220,000 viewers Wednesdays at 10 pm in A’s prime demographic of 25-54s.
The legal drama Stone, which follows a lawyer with prophetic powers, managed slightly less at 212,000 on Tuesdays at 10 pm, while the critically praised Daisies, about a man who can bring the dead back to life with a single touch, struggled below the 200,000 mark. (All numbers 25-54.)
