RBC getting in on frosh week

The bank will promote its student deals and hand out prizes including Vespa scooters on campuses this month.

The Royal Bank of Canada’s annual fall campus promotion targeting students kicked off with ads in Toronto’s free daily Metro and on student-frequented sites, including Facebook. Next on the agenda are campus visits during frosh week in September to enhance RBC’s position as a long-term financial advisor to students and encourage students to visit RBC.

In a contest element of the campaign, students can win Vespa S scooters plus one of three daily Sony bundles by signing up for an RBC No Limit Banking for Students account, or any other student products on www.rbcp2p.com/playforfree. The contest ends on Oct. 30.

Media buys were handled by M2 Universal.
