Transcontinental Media has made some key appointments to its marketing and online properties. The move is designed to beef up the company’s online brands with interactive marketing, social networking and online expertise.
Social-networking specialist Julie Lemonde has joined the Transcontinental Media team in Montreal as an interactive marketing consultant. Lemonde will work with website directors to develop new platforms and analyze ThinData outputs to improve decision-making.
Geneviève Lamy has also joined the Montreal team as marketing project manager. She will lead marketing projects and search for innovative new solutions for Transcontinental Media’s online brands.
Angus Robinson has become the new Home & Garden product manager in Toronto. He will be responsible for all sites in that group, including the Style at Home, Canadian Gardening, Canadian Home & Country and Canadian Home Workshop websites.
In Montreal, Bruno Santerre has been appointed product manager for CoupdePouce.com, ElleQuebec.com, Decormag.com, LeBelage.ca, and Jardinage.net. Santerre will work closely with the web editing team to relaunch key Transcontinental Media websites over the coming year. Previously, he was the head of production, Internet and digital services for Radio-Canada.ca, where he and his team won a number of industry awards.
