Astral Out-of-Home has announced the addition of four more digital faces in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and three additional signs in the Montreal region.
The new signs feature LED lighting and six remotely programmed static messages rotating in 10-second intervals. The signs bring the total number of digital faces in the Astral network to 39 in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
In the GTA, the first two new digital faces will be located at the East Mall, just east of Highway 427 on the Gardiner Expressway. The other two are located in Mississauga in the newly renovated Celebration Square, close to Square One Shopping Centre.
The first of the new digital faces in Montreal is located on Highway 15 in Laval, close to the the Carrefour Laval and Centre Laval shopping centres. The other two new signs will be added alongside the newly built A25 Bridge, an entirely electronic toll bridge that is set to open in May and links Montreal to Laval and other North Shore municipalities.
The Digital Network is programmed on-demand and managed remotely from Astral’s state-of-the-art control and broadcast centre located in Montreal. The technology also allows the display of AMBER alerts or road safety advisories.
