Global moves House, other time slots

The net's spring sked is taking shape with House and Bones moving to new nights on the prime-time grid. And Showcase is reprising four biggies.

Global is moving House to the Monday 9 pm time slot when the show returns April 28. The show will lead out of Bones, which returns on April 14 to its new Monday 8 pm time slot.

The net is bringing NCIS back to its prime-time line-up on April 8 in the Tuesday 8 pm time slot. Both Back to You and ‘Til Death will return to Wednesdays, but the dates have yet to be confirmed.

Thursdays will see My Name is Earl return at 9 pm on April 3, while subsequent eps will move to 9:30 pm as The Office (simulcast) starts at 9 pm on April 10.

Numb3rs will return to Friday’s 8 pm time slot on April 4. On Sundays, The Simpsons stays at 8 pm, followed by Family Guy at 9 pm and Brothers & Sisters, which returns to the 10 pm time slot on April 20.

In other news from Canwest, its Showcase channel will be giving viewers a second chance to catch episodes of House (seasons 1 and 2) at 11 pm Monday-Thursday beginning March 31; Numb3rs (seasons 1 and 2) at 12 am Monday-Thursday beginning March 31; Life (11 episodes of season 1) at Wednesday 10 pm beginning April 3; and The Shield (season 6) at Thurday 10 pm beginning April 10.
