American Gladiators will premiere with a two-hour special on Sunday, Jan. 6 at 9 pm ET on Citytv Toronto and Citytv HD (Rogers Channel 519); 8 pm CT on Citytv Winnipeg; 10 pm MT on Citytv Calgary; 10 pm MT on Citytv Edmonton; and 9 pm PT on Citytv Vancouver.

Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali (pictured) will host the David vs. Goliath matches as amateur athletes face off against 12 fierce new gladiators. Viewers will get a look at what each challenger went through to prepare for their battles in upgraded versions of such classic events as ‘the joust,’ ‘the wall’ and ‘the eliminator.’

The series will air in its regular time slot of Mondays at 8 pm, starting Jan. 7 on Citytv Toronto and Citytv HD (Rogers Channel 519); 7 pm on Citytv Winnipeg; 9pm on Citytv Calgary; 9 pm on Citytv Edmonton; and 8 pm on Citytv Vancouver.
