Slice heavies up on reality this winter

There's the brand new Bulging Brides, new episodes from imports Project Runway and Trading Spouses, plus more eps of homegrown series Til Debt Do Us Part and Crash Test Mommy.

Slice – the guilty-pleasures-for-women network – will kick off 2008 with three new reality shows. The half-hour Bulging Brides will air Thursdays at 9:30 pm ET/PT, beginning Jan. 10. Each episode will follow a bride-to-be for two months as – ‘wracked by tension and petrified by the thought of looking chunky on her special day’ – she works with a trainer and a nutritionist to shed pounds.

Hour-long episodes of Paradise Hotel will follow a group of single people living together in a luxurious resort as they compete with each other and newcomers to stay at the resort the longest. The show will air Wednesdays at 9 pm ET/PT beginning Jan. 9. The half-hour modern-day house call show Dr. In The House will begin Jan. 7, airing weekdays at 11:30 am ET. On The Mom Show, host Laurie Gelman and Dr. Dave Greenberg discuss health issues.

Returning shows from abroad include the fourth season of Project Runway, which will air Mondays at 10 pm starting Jan. 7. The third seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County and Trading Spouses will air Tuesdays at 9 pm starting Feb. 5 and Wednesdays at 10 pm starting Jan. 9, respectively.

New episodes of original Canadian series include Outlaw In-Laws at 8:30 pm and At The End of My Leash at 9 pm on Mondays beginning Jan. 7; Matchmaker on Tuesdays at 8 pm beginning Jan. 8; Til Debt Do Us Part on Thursdays at 9 pm beginning Jan. 10; Crash Test Mommy, Fridays at 9 pm beginning Jan. 11; Renovate My Wardrobe, Fridays at 10:30 pm beginning Jan. 11; and Three Takes, airing weekdays at 12pm ET/3 pm PT beginning Jan. 7.
