Beginning Jan. 2, episodes of Trailer Park Boys will air weeknights at 5 pm ET/PT, followed at 6 pm by episodes from seasons one and two of CSI: New York, which will repeat Mondays to Thursdays at 12 am.
The final seasons of Prime Suspect, the British series starring Helen Mirren (pictured) as Detective Chief Inspector Jane Tennison, will air Saturdays at 6 pm, starting Jan. 5. In Season 6: The Last Witness, Tennison is under pressure to retire as she investigates the murder of a Bosnian refugee. In Season 7: The Final Act, she struggles with her alcoholism while investigating the murder of a schoolgirl.
The Canadian premiere of the dark British comedy The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle will air Sundays at 10:30 pm, beginning Jan. 13. The show follows the on-screen and off-screen life of a fictional TV host played by Jennifer Saunders (Eddy in Absolutely Fabulous). An Oprah-wannabe, she is bent on success, but has bad audience rapport because she frequently offends her guests.
Season 5 of the Emmy Award-winning series The L Word will air Thursdays at 10 pm, starting Jan. 17. This season will feature special guest star Cybill Shepherd (Moonlighting) as it continues following the professional and social lives of a group of gay, bisexual and straight women living in L.A.
The three-part, hour-long mini-series Bon Voyage will air Mondays at 10 pm, starting Jan. 28. This UK/Canadian co-production is about a family’s camping trip in France that takes a dangerous turn when an odd couple they befriend turns the experience into a nightmare.
