Comeback for Cox, Caribbean beats, Canadian arts bowing on Bravo

Two ongoing series and two new shows will premiere on Bravo! next month.

Dirt, starring former Friends mainstay Courtney Cox (pictured), will have its Canadian premiere on Friday, Nov. 2 at 10 pm ET/7pm PT on Bravo! Cox plays the editor-in-chief of celebrity mags Drrt and Now in an edgy drama about the cut-throat world of tabloid journalism.

On the other end of the entertainment spectrum, Heartbeat: Caribbean Musicians and Composers in Canada will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. The 13-part documentary series showcases Canadian-Caribbean musicians and explores various forms of Caribbean music. Each half-hour episode profiles a different artist, such as drummer Muhtadi, world-beat band Kobo Town, jazz group CaneFire, trumpeter Nick ‘Brownman’ Ali, steel-pannist Ian Jones, soca artist Anselm Douglas and calypso queen Macomere Fifi.

Other November offerings from Bravo! are the returning series Bravo!Videos and Bravo!FACT Presents. The half-hour Bravo!Videos airs Friday at 7 pm ET/4pm PT beginning Nov. 2, and features music videos and artist interviews with a focus on Canadian content – Canadian crooner Michael Buble will headline the Nov. 23 episode. Bravo!FACT Presents will air Fridays at 7:30 ET/4:30pm PT beginning Nov. 9.
