Former Transcontinental Media promotions and marketing exec Andrew Waiser has been appointed by CanWest MediaWorks to the newly created position of promotions manager. His duties will involve working closely with the company’s national sales team as well as the marketing and promotions departments of CanWest newspapers to develop customized strategies for customers’ brands, products and services – helping to bridge the gap between promotions and advertising.

Waiser has an extensive background in marketing and promotions, most recently with Transcontinental Media, where he organized and executed many print and online promotional campaigns.
