OLN has release the broadcast sked for its exclusive coverage of the Tour de France, airing July 7-29. The 23-day broadcast will mark OLN’s seventh year covering the prestigious cycling event as riders compete for the yellow jersey. Sponsors for this year’s tour include Canadian high-end cycle maker Cervélo, Specialized, Molson and War Amps.
On Sunday, July 1 at 8 pm, the net will kick off its coverage with a pre-event one-hour special called Lance’s France: The Traveller’s Guide, which explores destinations along the racing route, including the French Riviera, the great chateaux of the Loire Valley, the wine road of Alsace, the French Alps, Provence, Languedoc, the daunting Pyrenees mountains and Paris.
With most coverage airing in the early mornings, OLN will put daily encore presentations in the 8 pm ET/10 pm ET time slot (except for the final day, when an encore presentation airs at 12 noon and 8 pm ET/9 am and 10 pm PT). The 2007 Tour de France regular broadcast sked is as follows:
