Teletoon is unveiling six new shows in July to fill its Camp Teletoon summer programming block (daily, 8-11 am ET/PT). The animation net is giving kids a sneak peek at the new summer shows starting at 4 pm ET/PT on Friday, June 29.
The new George of the Jungle is hitting the daily sked starting on July 2, airing Monday to Friday in the 8 am ET/PT and 4:30 pm time slots, as well as Saturdays at 11 am.
Iggy Arbuckle, a show about a park ranger pig (pictured), premieres in Canada on July 2, airing Monday to Friday in the 8:30 am ET/PT and 4 pm ET/PT time slots, as well as Saturdays at 11:30 am ET/PT.
Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island will premiere in Canada on July 2 at 10 am ET/PT, airing Monday to Friday in that time slot and on Saturdays at 7 am ET/PT. The show follows the high-jinks of a hairy coconut and his friends, including twin bananas that love to give wedgies.
Total Drama Island, an animated reality TV show, launches on Sunday, July 8 at 8 pm ET/PT with a double-ep premiere, with a regular time slot of Thursdays and Sundays at 8:30 pm ET/PT. The show sends 22 teens to a beat-up, bug-infested summer camp in Northern Ontario to endure leaky cabins, foul food and insane challenges to avoid walking the dock of shame.
Bakugan is the net’s newest action game anime series, premiering on Sunday, July 8 at 10:30 am ET/PT, with a regular time slot of Sundays at 10:30 am ET/PT and Tuesdays at 7 pm ET/PT. The show follows Dan and his friends as they battle their Bakugan Brawlers to protect the parallel world Vestroia and ultimately save Earth from destruction.
Chop Socky Chooks, premiering July 8 at 6:30 pm ET/PT, is about a crack team of Kung Fu Chickens working undercover to combat their arch-enemy, Dr Wasabi, and his monstrous schemes for world domination, while defending the citizens of Wasabi World, the world’s biggest shopping mall. Following its premiere, the show airs Sundays at 8 am and 6:30 pm ET/PT and Fridays at 7 pm ET/PT.
