Corus puts call out to adrenaline junkies

YTV wants thrill-seekin' teens to sign on for The Adrenaline Project, a new youth game show-style series slotted for the fall sked.

YTV has issued a casting call for a new game show series called The Adrenaline Project, which aims to get teens 14-16 carrying out secret adrenaline-charged challenges such as wakeboarding or bungee jumping.

Each ep puts six contestants through physical and mental training to prepare for the final challenge, the nature of which is only revealed after it’s too late for them to back out. The winner gets a prize and bragging rights. Casting call info and a trailer is currently live at the show’s microsite, www.theadrenalineproject.com.

Auditions for the extreme sports show will be held on June 2 and 16 in Toronto, with wanna-be contestants signing up via email. The series is being produced by Toronto-based Marblemedia, which will also serve up online video contestants’ diaries, highlights and mobile games to enhance the show on multiple platforms.
