Those guidos and guidettes just keep giving at MTV Canada.
The CTV specialty reported Jersey Shore, closing in on its second season finale on Oct. 21, has become the top-rated Canadian specialty series of 2010, excluding sports programming.
The average season audience for the MTV series on the Canadian channel to date is 406,500 total viewers, far surpassing the average audience for the sixth season of The Hills with an average 168,700 viewers, according to BBM Canada data.
The second season average total audience for Jersey Shore is also up 317% over the first season average, according to CTV.
