Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for March 21 to 27, 2011:
Monday: With its eclectic mix of stars this season (Kirstie Alley? Really?) Dancing with the Stars on Monday night on CTV at 8 p.m. won 2.505 million viewers to win fourth spot over all for the week. Right behind it was last week’s Monday winner House on Global with 2.389 million viewers.
Tuesday: NCIS, the military procedural that just keeps chugging along merrily, won Tuesday night on Global at 8 p.m., beating its little brother, NCIS: Los Angeles on the same channel at 9 p.m. The original garnered 2.324 million viewers, while LA earned 1.820 million.
Wednesday: American Idol‘s second-biggest night of the week was Wednesday on CTV at 8 p.m., winning 2.715 million viewers. The week prior, it earned 2.780 million viewers.
Thursday: The biggest night of the week was Thursday, with Idol winning 3.039 million viewers on CTV at 8 p.m.; last week, it won 2.704 million viewers.
Friday: Dependably, CTV Evening News was on top Friday on CTV at 6 p.m. with 1.716 million viewers; the week prior, it earned 1.141 million viewers to win the night.
Saturday: What, Hockey Night in Canada won the night? Crazy! As per usual during the hockey season, HNIC Game #1 at 7 p.m. was on top, with 2.070 million viewers (#9 overall), slightly less than the week prior, when it won 2.157 million viewers.
Sunday: The Juno Awards kept the grand tradition of big-broadcast Sunday nights alive, earning 2.414 million viewers to win the night and an overall #6 ranking for the week.
