The scoreline so far for Canadian TV’s upcoming National Hockey League regular season: TSN and TSN2 will air a combined 124 games, while the CBC plans an 87-game schedule and the NHL Network has scheduled another 31 live game telecasts.

TSN has unveiled its national broadcast package for 2010-2011, to include 76 regular season games with at least one Canadian team, and another 48 games showcasing non-Canadian teams, starting Oct. 7.

TSN and TSN2 also plans pre-season action, and wrap-around NHL coverage on its broadcast, digital, online and mobile platforms.

The CBC, also unveiling its upcoming live game schedule this week, opens its 2010-2011 campaign Oct. 7 with a Canadian team doubleheader, and 29 all-Canadian team matchups this season.

Besides playoff and Stanley Cup Championship game coverage, the CBC also plans a number of game specials, including the NHL Heritage Classic, the 2010 NHL Winter Classic, the 2011 NHL All-Star Super Skills and 58th NHL All-Star Game next January.

Elsewhere, NHL Network Canada said it will drop the puck on its upcoming season of 31 live games on Oct. 10 with a Boston-Pheonix matchup played in Prague.
The specialty channel’s NHL coverage this coming season will also focus on Sunday games, and a state-side profile.
