Branchez-Vous! to buy NetWorldMedia
The combined network will reach over 300 websites.
Montreal-based web media company Branchez-Vous! entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire Canadian interactive advertising network NetWorldMedia, offering ‘national and local advertisers unprecedented reach and targeting abilities across Canada,’ says Gino Coutu, CEO of NetWorldMedia. Coutu says advertisers will gain access to a network of over 300 websites from a single source.
‘This [yet-to-be finalized] agreement will establish Branchez-Vous! as the dominant advertising network in French Canada,’ says Patrick Pierra, president/CEO of Branchez-Vous!. Branchez-Vous! is one of the largest French-language Internet ad networks in Canada, reaching approximately three million French Canadians every month via 200 French websites, 50 of which are represented exclusively by the company, including allocine.com, chezmaya.com, cinoche.com, commentcamarche.net and globetrotter.net. With offices in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City, NetWorldMedia represents about 250 websites and reaches over nine million unique users per month in Canada.
