House makes monster return

 

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Sept. 21 to 27, 2009.

Monday: A two-hour season premiere of House on Global at 8 p.m. was the hit of the week with 4.426 million viewers (America’s Got Talent on CTV was most-watched the previous week with 2.027 million viewers).

Tuesday: NCIS on Global at 8 p.m. attracted 2.699 million viewers as the most-watched program of the night. Big Brother 11, which did not air this particular week, was on top the previous week with 2.132 million viewers.

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. attracted an audience of 2.965 million as the most popular program of the week. Bones on Global was the champ the previous week with 1.760 million.

Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 p.m. also made its return this week with 3.279 million people tuning in. It ousted Global’s Survivor Samoa which was last week’s most-watched program, seen by 3.208 million viewers.

Friday: Flashpoint on CTV at 10 p.m. attracted 1.882 million viewers as the most popular program on Friday. It took over for long-time champ CTV Evening News, which had an audience of 1.565 million the previous week.

Saturday: CTV National News remains on top of the Saturday night ratings with an audience of 1.267 at 11 p.m., topping its 1.125 million viewers the previous week.

Sunday: Amazing Race 15 on CTV at 8 p.m. had 2.861 million viewers on Sunday night (The Emmy Awards was most-watched the previous week with 2.047 million viewers).
