The Advertising Club of Toronto has announced is 2010 board of directors, adding six new faces to the 13-person lineup.
New members of the board include Laura Qusen, national account manager, Transcontinental, as communications director; Jennifer DeFrenza, account executive, Expedia, as social director; Eyal Zilnik, director of business development, Fourth Wall, as membership director; Rob Maurin, media consultant and Toronto SEO Workshop director, as interactive director; Jay Sweeney, general manager of Tenzing Interactive Marketing, as golf day chair; and Lynne Brady, business manager, Grassroots Advertising, as out-of-home day chair.
Returning to the board for a second term are Jamie Thompson, managing director, Adapt Media (president), Mladen Raickovic, manager, brand response audience and operations, Olive Media (VP and internet day chair), Laura Maurice, manager, print investments, Starcom Worldwide (finance director), Stephanie Greenberg, account manager, strategy magazine (operations director), Lynette Whiley, managing director, Mindshare Canada (newspaper day chair), and Lori Fitzgerald, account manager, Best Health magazine (magazine day chair).
Ad Club is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to organize social and networking events for the advertising, marketing, production and media industries. The mandate for 2010, says Thompson, will be to raise awareness of the club and increase membership.
