Cue Digital forms to tackle branded content
The new mediaco represents a merger between Canadian branded content companies Digital Percent and Digital Branz.
Digital Percent and Digital Branz, sister companies that create and represent branded content for top Canadian brands, have been merged under the new name Cue Digital Media.
Cue Digital Media has partnerships in place with sector-leading brands like UFC, Heavy, College Humor, Funny or Die, BNQT Media, Premier League, TMZ and Warner Bros.
‘Content is king. Distribution is queen,’ Cue Digital founder and CEO, David UK, said in a release. ‘Production and distribution is crucial to any online branded video execution. If you build it, they will NOT come. You need to drive user video engagement. We are site agnostic and deliver the branded entertainment to where it’s consumed and we guarantee results.’
‘In addition to our own video production team we have access to production and online talent through our US partners,’ he continues. ‘In the US, our partners are seeing 75% of their campaigns include branded video entertainment and custom integration; this is the future of online advertising.’
Cue Digital Media will offer advertisers custom campaign integration opportunities such as rich media homepage takeovers, page skins, editorial integration, promotional and sponsorship opportunities, and will also produce branded entertainment for advertisers.
