Corus Entertainment’s W Network has greenlit a third season of docuseries Hockey Wives.
Produced by Bristow Global Media, in association with W Network, filming is currently underway on eight new episodes, which are scheduled to air in spring 2017.
The series, which targets a 25- to 54-year old female audience, follows the lives of the wives and girlfriends of NHL hockey players.
Hockey Wives debuted on W Network in March 2015, quickly becoming a ratings hit for the channel and landing an international distribution deal with Beyond Distribution. Greenlit in May 2015, the second season brought electronics brand LG on board as a brand integration partner. No brand partnerships or cast have yet been announced for the third season.
