Grey’s Anatomy takes back Thursday

CTV's Grey's Anatomy took Thursday night from Global's Survivor: Micronesia. Solid performers Dexter, Family Guy and Lost also returned to the Top 30.

Here are the national winners (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM/Nielsen, for April 21-27.

NHL Playoffs:The NHL playoffs on Monday and Tuesday hit #10 with 1.653 million (up from the previous week’s high of 1.236 million), while the Tuesday-Sunday games took #16 with a 1.333 million average. The playoff postgame on Friday and Saturday hit #26 with 957,000 viewers.

News and daily shows: CTV Evening News at 6 pm hit #14 with an average minute audience of 1.387 million viewers (up from 1.364 million on the previous week’s national chart). The net’s Jeopardy/Access Hollywood at 7:30 pm took #20 with 1.113 million for its Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday airings (up from 979,000). CTV’s Dr. Phil at 5 pm hit #29 with 918,000 viewers. The net’s national news at 11 pm took #30 with 878,000 (up from 792,000).

Monday: CTV’s CSI: Miami at 10 pm hit #4 with 2.036 million (up from 1.22 million achieved by Medium the previous week). The net’s Dancing with the Stars, airing 8-9:32 pm, took #11 with 1.643 million (down from 1.652 million). Global’s Bones at 8 pm hit #15 with 1.361 million (up from 1.265 million). CTV’s Corner Gas at 9:32 pm took #17 with 1.316 million (up from 1.192 million).

Tuesday: CTV’s American Idol at 8 pm kept #1 with 2.461 million (up from 2.594 million), while Dancing with the Stars took #9 with 1.818 million (down from 1.829 million) in the 9 pm time slot. The net’s Law & Order: SVU at 10 pm hit #12 with 1.622 million (down from 1.896 million). Global’s NCIS at 8 pm took #18 with 1.281 million (down from 1.518 million).

Wednesday: CTV’s American Idol at 9 pm stayed at #2 with 2.353 million (up from 2.313 million), while Law & Order at 10 pm took #5 with 1.974 million (down from CSI: New York‘s 2.2 million the previous week). The net’s Criminal Minds at 10 pm took #19 with 1.272 million (down from 1.488 million).

Thursday: CTV’s Grey’s Anatomy at 9 pm hit #3 with 2.118 million, taking the night from the previous week’s winner, Global’s Survivor: Micronesia at 8 pm, which fell to #6 with 1.949 million (up from 1.853 million). CTV’s CSI at 8 pm took #7 with 1.858 million (up from 1.561 million in the previous week’s 9 pm time slot), while Lost at 10 pm hit #13 with 1.443 million viewers.

Friday: CTV’s Ghost Whisperer at 8 pm hit #23 with 1.003 million viewers. Global’s Numb3rs at 10 pm took #25 with 968,000 (up from 963,000).

Saturday: Aside from hockey programming, CTV’s weekend news at 6 pm was the only show on the chart, taking #28 with a Saturday-Sunday average of 920,000 viewers (down from 1.025 million).

Sunday: CTV’s Desperate Housewives at 9 pm hit #7 with 1.823 million (up from 1.765 million). Global’s Family Guy at 9 pm took #21 with 1.102 million. CTV’s Cold Case at 7 pm hit #22 with 1.04 million (up from 907,000), while Dexter at 10 pm took #24 with 991,000 and CSI at 8 pm hit #27 with 920,000 viewers (down from 1.24 million achieved by Oprah’s Big Give in that time slot the previous week).
