Canada’s Redux gets Tickle from US

Redux Media expects to be at the forefront of viral marketing placements in Canada, thanks to inking a deal with San Francisco's Tickle Grapevine.

Redux Media, with offices in Toronto and Montreal, has signed an exclusive online advertising sales partnership with San Francisco-based Tickle Grapevine, the force behind seven websites customized with social and viral components and marketing solutions. The deal will see the two companies working together for customized viral marketing and advertising solutions for agencies and advertisers across Canada. As part of the Monster Worldwide network, Tickle brings to the table Tickle.com, Ringo.com, LoveHappens.com and affiliate sites Bebo.com, Piczo.com, Ezboard.com and hi5.com.

Redux GM Claude Dugas says advertisers will be able to ‘leverage key influencers within social networks. Advertisers can insert their brand messages into communications between friends. Contextually relevant advertising shown to these consumers can take on the quality of an endorsement based on the environment they’re being presented in.’

Tickle VP operations David Steinberger says traffic across the Tickle Grapevine has grown substantially in Canada, with more than 7.7 million monthly unique users and over 35% reach within the Canadian market.
