As of July 3, Astral Media TVPlus’ Toronto sales division will represent MusiquePlus and MusiMax – which were formerly repped by CHUM.
Inking deals for the two French-language specialty nets will be sales exec Lyne Nault and Paul William Sedik, sales director, French broadcasting. Sedik tells MiC the new arrangement arose when CTVglobemedia decided not to retain its 50% ownership in the nets. Astral had owned the other 50% and, if the CRTC approves, will now acquire full ownership.
