MPG Canada retains GEOX account

The incumbent media agency's pitch did the trick for a client that spent $2.5 million on Canadian media initiatives last year.

A pitch by MPG Canada, GEOX’s incumbent media agency, triumphed over other competitors in a recent review, securing the account in time for projected growth by the purveyor of innovative footwear.

Since launching in Canada in the early 1990s, GEOX has opened nine corporate stores, a number that’s set to expand this year. Its merchandise is also available in more than 350 adults’ and children’s retail stores throughout the country.

Last year, GEOX invested $2.5 million in media in Canada. MPG Canada is part of the media arm of Havas, the world’s sixth-biggest communications agency, operating in more than 100 countries.
