In an attempt to promote a $60-million ‘endMS’ research fundraising campaign, Montreal-based Astral Media is donating an additional $2 million worth of ad space to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. This comes after a $1-million commitment earlier this year.
The donation gives the MS Society coast-to-coast exposure that is unprecedented in its 60-year history. Ads placed on all of Astral Media’s ad media platforms – television, radio, OOH and interactive – will direct consumers to the cause’s website at endMS.ca.
‘This cross-country exposure has put the organization firmly in the national spotlight,’ says Yves Savoie, president and CEO of the MS Society of Canada.
The endMS ad campaign launched in July across 83 Astral radio stations and more than 10 of its English and French TV networks, as well as on OOH media across Ontario and Quebec and many of Astral’s 70 websites.
