Conservative Party of Canada takes second place (in radio advertising):
Media Monitors – Oct. 6 to 12, 2008

Although Wal-Mart remains #1, the Conservatives dug deep into their election kitty and zoomed to #2.

Wal-Mart keeps its top radio spend seat, but the Conservative Party of Canada was a strong challenger, gearing up for the election via the airwaves to come from behind (#196) to second place in the ad time tally.

Petro-Canada dropped one spot to #3, while Porter Airlines came in at #4 from off the charts last week. Sobeys and Elections Canada entered the top 10 at #6 and #8 respectively, rising from #16 and #15.

Belairdirect and the Ontario Toyota Dealers ranked #9 and #10.
