Montreal-based Internet media co Branchez-Vous has a new ad rep and sales division. The newly renamed BV! Media, announced today, is regrouping its ad networks, targeting technologies and expertise with those of recently acquired NetWorldMedia.
The new division’s plans include expansion from the Quebec market to English Canada, where it hopes to reach advertisers and their agencies with its bilingual network, media brands and behavioural targeting capabilities.
The 20-person team, which includes 12 sales reps specializing in Internet advertising, provide national and local advertisers with sponsored search strategies and media solutions.
To further support ad sales growth, Branchez-Vous has formed a web production department focused on helping advertisers with content integration and media creativity. It’s led by newly promoted GM of production and publishing Carl Charest.
The BV! Media network reaches over 9 million unique users per month across Canada, including 5 million in Quebec, according to comScore data.
Branchez-vous’ network includes AlloCine.com, Canada411.ca, LeDevoir.com, ChezMaya.com, Cinoche.com, CommentCaMarche.net, Copines.ca, DoYouLookGood.com, GuideAuto.com, JeuxVideo.com, Linternaute.com, Montreal.TV, RestoMontreal.ca, TagTele.com and TonTuyau.com.
Currently, the company’s content division, which produces and commercializes French-language Internet content for advertisers, operates over 10 websites including the Showbizz.net entertainment news site, the Fanatique.ca sports site and the largest independent portal in Quebec, Branchez-Vous, targeting active tech buffs.
