Bakugan rolls out the red carpet

Promo spots airing over the next two weeks are edging viewers to the contest microsite.

Astral- and Corus-owned Teletoon, Spin Master and Nelvana Enterprises are teaming up this month to promote the premiere of series two of the wildly popular tween action series Bakugan and its new range of toys, by giving kids a chance at their very own red carpet experience.

Launching Monday and running until Feb. 27, the ‘Roll Out the Red Carpet’ contest will run promo spots during classic Bakugan eps airing weekdays at 5 pm ET and edging viewers to the contest microsite, Teletoon.com. One visitor will win a trip for four to a red-carpet event in Toronto to see the North American premiere of Bakugan: New Vestroia. An additional 300 kids will win a pair of tickets to attend Bakugan premiere screenings in April across Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal.

Cogeco Digital Cable subscribers can also access 10 eps of Bakugan on demand from March 2 to 30. Subscribers will get to hone their game skills with lower thirds airing over these special episodes illustrating tips how to play the fast-paced strategy game.
