Communications software provider Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI) yesterday introduced its latest demographics insight tool, which can analyze consumers’ financial characteristics by neighbourhood. The latest version of the ‘Canada Wealth’ software derives data from financial institutions’ anonymous customer account records regarding assets and banking behaviour.

‘Given today’s economic environment, it is now more important than ever for financial organizations to secure a more accurate view of their customers and markets and effectively integrate this into daily business operations,’ says Sebastien Rancourt, product manager, PBBI, in a release.

The latest version of the software provides 74 variables about a particular user, including their mortgages, real estate assets, liabilities and everyday banking.
