Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for March 16 – 22, 2009:

Monday: Another new episode of House on Global at 8 pm attracted the largest audience for the night with 2.476 million viewers. (It was also the most-watched program the previous week with a similar audience of 2.313 million.)

Tuesday: American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm stays on top with 2.128 million viewers. (The show had a similar audience share the previous week with 2.251 million viewers.)

Wednesday: American Idol results show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.110 million viewers. (The previous week Idol had an audience of 2.239 million.)

Thursday: A new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 pm is the most popular for the night and had the second-highest ratings for the week with 2.321 million viewers. (Grey’s was also the most watched the previous week with 2.120 million viewers.)

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 pm has the largest share of the Friday audience again with 1.367 million viewers. (It was also most popular the previous week with 1.351 million viewers.)

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada on CBC at 7 pm was watched by 1.274 million hockey fans. (The show was also highest-rated the previous week but with 1.159 viewers.)

Sunday: The Amazing Race on CTV at 8 pm was unbeatable again with 1.943 million viewers. (It was the most watched program the previous week with 1.868 million viewers.)
