Dawna Henderson named IAB chair

The president/CEO of digital agency Henderson Bas has been named chair of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada's 2010 board of directors.

Industry veteran Dawna Henderson, president and CEO of Toronto-based digital agency Henderson Bas, has been named chair of the 2010 Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada’s board of directors.

The IAB announced Henderson’s appointment today, effective January 2010. Henderson has been a member of IAB Canada since 1997, and has contributed to organization initiatives like the Canadian Universal Ad Package (CUAP) and the Late Creative and Terms and Conditions policies.

Henderson has worked in the interactive advertising industry for almost 20 years, with clients including Coca-Cola, ING Direct, Joe Fresh Style, Molson Canadian, Capital One, eBay, Mercedes Benz, Nike and Levi Strauss & Co.

Henderson’s business- and advertising-industry knowledge will help shape IAB Canada’s commitment to addressing the needs of all of its members, including publishers, agencies, advertisers and service associates, Paula Gignac, president, IAB Canada, said in a release.
