Global’s Survivor: Samoa back on top

CSI, which also airs on Thursday night on rival network CTV, comes in second place.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Dec. 7, 2009 to Dec. 13, 2009.

Monday: CSI Miami on CTV at 10 p.m. had the highest ratings of the night, and took third place for the week with 2.796 million viewers. (House on Global had the highest ratings of the night the previous week with 2.796 million viewers.)

Tuesday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. cracks the top 10 for the week with 1.666 million viewers tuning in. (NCIS on Global was most popular the previous week with 1.848 million viewers.)

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. was most-watched of the night with 2.278 million viewers. (Bones on Global was on top the previous week with 2.213 million viewers.)

Thursday: Survivor: Samoa on Global at 8 p.m. attracted 2.775 million viewers as the second most-watched program of the week. It just surpassed CSI on CTV at 9 p.m., which had 2.618 million viewers as the second-most watched show of the week. (Last week Survivor had 2.943 million viewers as the top program of the night.)

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. holds the Friday title with 1.666 million viewers watching the program that night. (CTV Evening News had the biggest audience the previous week with 1.730 million viewers.)

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada (HNIC) Game #1 on CBC at 7 p.m. holds on as the top program of the night with 1.758 million viewers. (HNIC game #1 was most-watched the previous week 1.453 million viewers.)

Sunday: The Wonderful World of Disney on CBC at 5 pm was most-watched at the end of the week with 1.479 million viewers. (The Amazing Race 15 finale was the most-watched the previous week with 3.074 million viewers).
