Sleep Country tops in Toronto: Media Monitors radio rankings, Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2010

The mattress co keeps its Boxing Week momentum going with a big Toronto radio buy, while AlarmForce regains the lead from The Brick in Montreal.

Sleep Country awoke radio audiences with the most spots aired in the Toronto market as it maintained its lead over other advertisers, according to the Media Monitors radio spending rankings for the week of Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2010.

Porter Airlines increased its presence in Toronto to snag #2, with itravel2000 leaping up 21 spots to #3. Other major movers included Tim Horton’s, which soared 383 places to the #4 position; Sears, which moved up 10 spots to take #5; and Loblaw Greatfood debuting in the top 10 at #6.

In Montreal, security company AlarmForce switched positions with last week’s champ, The Brick. Porter Airlines flew up eight positions to #3, with top ten debuts recorded by itravel2000 at #4, Lottery Canada at #5 and Subway at #10. The Home Depot scaled great heights with a 200-position jump to #7, while Tim Horton’s climbed 134 places to #8.
